New Feature Introduced 4.20 - Export to Notability
There's an extremely handy tool for Circuit Overseer's and it's called Notability. This is extremely useful for recording assembly programs and to use at rehearsals. If you download the app for iPad and also Mac, you can easily sync what you are doing between the two, record audio, bookmark the audio to your notes and review later if you want. If you record a part then it automatically times the part! No need to do 2 things at once. However, it has been a little cumbersome to add all the notes you might like to your Notability Notes - Until Now! We will be providing a function to provide a complete exported file that you can quickly and easily import into Notability. Have everything in front of you such as the speaker's name, participants names, rehearsal times, part times, entire outline and any other notes you like to keep for the rehearsal and assembly part when it is given! You can then even add pictures of the part to your notes while the rehearsal and/or part is in progress! I have been using this for the past couple years and it saves so much time, but this new feature of exporting from CDOTG will now allow you to import everything into Notability in SECONDS! Coming in the next release! Here's how it works:
- Install Notability on your iPad and Mac, make sure you are using the same iCloud account on all devices
- Create your Assembly Program, with all your participants, add your notes to the parts if you want
- Go to the new function under Assembly Participants and click the new sticker
- When you click the bottom button in the Popover where it is labeled "Export to Notability" it will ask to Export and give you a reminder where these new files will be located
- After exporting, go to Notability on your Mac and go to File>Import and locate your files on the Desktop and highlight all you want to import, click "Import" and you are done!
- You can organize your talks into Subjects under Dividers if you want, keep all your part organized.
