Other Functions
Listing of Points
Points Portal - Find your listing of points for the Agenda here. You can make adjustments here and enter data to tweak the points.
Statistics - Locate updated figures for the circuit and congregation here. You can decide to include these numbers on the Agenda or not. If you click on a week in the portal for activity in the past it will take you to another week and the agenda points considered there.
Recommendation Selections
Recommendations - View the Recommendations being made for the Agenda. Select if you would like to view the Recommendations and the time needed to consider them. Be sure to leave the minutes blank if you don't want this to show.
Formatting Panel
Formatting - Use this panel to customize your agenda. Start with the presets to get started and pick from one of the 5 Agenda templates.
Lots of Colors! - Select custom colors for backgrounds or fonts. Experiment with what you can do. If you find a theme you really like or different background colors let me know! We can try to add more!
Logo - Drag in a Logo for your Agenda here, experiment with what looks good! Avoid using large picture files if you can!
Header - You can enter a header for the agenda here and even format it. Unfortunately at present, it will lose it's formatting after an update, but in this box you can at least customize the heading for your agenda.
Meeting Time - Select the meeting time for the elder's meeting. This time will always remain the same for all weeks as it is a global field. You can also select an alternate day for the meeting. The date is automatically calculated for it's appearance on the agenda.
Meet with Service Committee - You can put in a time here to meet with the SVC before or after the meeting. If you put a negative number in here, say -30 and the Sunday Meeting time is 10:00 AM then it will say that the meeting time with the SCV is "9:30 AM". If you want it after the meeting then place the number according to minutes from the start time. Say the meeting is 10:00 AM, and you put 120 in the box, then the meeting will be listed for 12:00 PM. Include a message that will appear on the Agenda as well.
Note Taker and Times - Select the brother you would like to take notes for the elder's meeting. Select from the dropdown list. If you can't find that position it will ask for a suggestion from you. This also is a global field now that does not change until you change it.
Recommendations Time - This is the amount of time you would like to allot on the agenda for recommendations. You can change this anytime you like to suit the needs of the congregation. If no time is noted, then the word "Recommendations" will not print out on the Agenda, it will not be seen. Also this is a global field, meaning that once set, it stays for all agendas until you change it.
Email Notes
Email Notes - Personalize your notes here and add the Zoom ID where needed and it will be included on some agenda forms.
Other Functions
Current Week - The program automatically chooses the correct week to create the agenda for. However, using the navigation bar at the top, you can navigate to other weeks and thereby other agendas. This may be helpful if you want to review points used for other congregations. When you leave the current week, you can always click the center of the navigation bar where it says, "Current Week" and return to the week of the visit.
Add Agenda Points - Click here to enter your Agenda points. This will take you to another form where you can begin to enter the specific points for the Agenda.
Note:There is more information on creating Agenda Points under the Help section there.
Print - You can preview and print your agenda here
PDF - Print an Agenda to PDF quickly to your desktop
Send Agenda by Email - The Agenda will be attached to the email automatically. Remember, you must have an email client set up to send email from FileMaker. This is a real timesaver and gets the agendas out quickly! Remember, it is best not to send confidential things through email! Besides in rare cases, you might send an email to the wrong place, so be sure to check the recipients in the TO: field in your email client before clicking "Send"! The program is set up to copy and paste your information in the Web Browser for jwpub. However, you can send directly from an iOS device using the email client.
